Have a Damp Basement? Here’s Some Advice…

Following the recent (and current) heavy rains, I have heard much discussion about wet and damp basements.  After some research online, I came across a great website; www.energystar.gov, that offers up some great advice to those with concerns about their damp basement. Damp Basement? Diagnosis: The source of your problem could be a water leak or high humidity. Both can lead to mold, mildew, or other biological growth. Depending on the severity, conditions can lead to rot, structural damage, premature paint failure, and a variety of health problems.
